Theme park operator (formerly Ardent Leisure Limited). Two alleged maintenance incidents: in November 2020 ride arms rolled off trestles in a workshop, and in February 2021 a ride arm rose uncontrollably to four metres while a gondola was being disconnected. No injuries.
Outcome
Workplace Health and Safety Queensland accepted an enforceable undertaking (22 June 2026). Terms include: WHS enforceable undertaking, minimum expenditure $357,460. An undertaking is not a finding or admission of a contravention unless the regulator says the party admitted it.
