CRICOS (Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students)

Registration required to offer education to overseas students.

CRICOS is administered jointly by ASQA (VET) and TEQSA (higher ed). Providers must comply with the ESOS Act and National Code 2018 covering marketing, written agreements, course progress, complaints and transfers. Significant compliance tightening from January 2025.
