Its industrial relations compliance area provides compliance and information services on Queensland industrial relations laws for state and local government, long service leave, child employment, trading hours and holidays, and runs labour hire licensing compliance. Workplace Health and Safety Queensland and the Electrical Safety Office sit within OIR.
