Contract register

Keep every contract in one place and never miss a renewal or expiry. Log the counterparty, value, expiry date, notice period and next compliance review — the register flags what needs action and exports to Excel or PDF. Everything stays in your browser.

Your register is empty. Add a contract, or load the sample data to see how it works. Everything you enter stays in this browser — nothing is uploaded.

This is a record-keeping tool, not legal advice. Check each contract's actual terms — notice periods and renewal mechanics vary. Verify obligations with a qualified professional before acting.

Frequently asked questions

What is a contract register?
A contract register is a single, maintained list of every contract your organisation is party to — with the counterparty, value, expiry date, the notice period required to renew or exit, and who owns it internally. It's a core governance and compliance record: auditors, boards and funders expect one, and it stops contracts auto-renewing or lapsing without a decision.
Why does the notice period matter more than the expiry date?
Most contracts require you to give notice weeks or months before they end — to renew, renegotiate or walk away. If a contract auto-renews and you miss the notice window, you can be locked in for another full term. This tool works back from each expiry date using the notice period you enter and flags when the notice window opens, not just when the contract ends.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The register is stored only in your browser (localStorage) on this device. Nothing is sent to Rules Mate or any server. Use the Excel/CSV export to keep a copy or share it with your team.
Does this cover NDIS, aged care and charity funding agreements?
Yes — it's contract-type agnostic. Use the category field for service agreements, subcontractor deeds, funding/grant agreements, leases, insurance and licences. For NDIS providers, aged care operators and charities it's a simple way to keep funding and subcontractor agreements, insurances and key supplier contracts in one reviewable list.
