Workforce Inspectorate Victoria
Workforce Inspectorate Victoria (formerly Wage Inspectorate Victoria)
Victorian regulator that promotes and enforces the state's child employment, long service leave and owner driver and forestry contractor laws, and receives and refers complaints about Victorian Government construction projects. Its powers come from the Workforce Inspectorate Act 2020, and it administers the Child Employment Act 2003, the Long Service Leave Act 2018 and the Owner Drivers and Forestry Contractors Act 2005. Wage Inspectorate Victoria was renamed Workforce Inspectorate Victoria on 12 December 2025.
