Lodge annual gender equality report covering the 1 April 2025 – 31 March 2026 period. Pay-gap data publicly published.

Who is affected

Non-public-sector employers with 100 or more employees at any point during the reporting period, including corporate groups consolidated by ABN.

Penalty if missed

Naming on the WGEA non-compliant employer list, loss of eligibility for Commonwealth contracts and grants, and reputational damage from public pay-gap publication.

Prep checklist

  • Register a primary contact in the WGEA portal
  • Compile workforce composition data by gender, manager category and ANZSIC sub-division
  • Calculate gender pay gap for base salary and total remuneration
  • Have CEO sign the report and notify the board
  • Share the report with employees and notify shareholders/members before lodging
  • Submit via the WGEA portal by 31 May
